Prosecution for fake Doctor Michael Chour of The Sound of Animals

 

 

PROSECUTION CALLED FOR FAKE DOCTOR  

 

French animal “rescuer” Michael Chour from The Sound of Animals in Thailand, is accused of euthanizing dogs with “suspected rabies”. Mr Chour although claiming to be a trained Doctor, has no medical or veterinary qualifications. 

 

 

Michael Chour performs these illegal activities in direct contravention of Category 5, Section 24 of the act Veterinary Profession 2002. His treatments have been described by several qualified veterinarians as “extremely dangerous with rudimentary practices [likened to YouTube training] displayed at best”. 

 

SOA video evidence (like this story which was deleted in an attempt to cover up!) shows Michael Chour performing a plethora of illegal activities including but not restricted to:

JUSTICE FOR PIPO

Pipo was one of Chour’s victims, suffering a painful, stressful and illegal death at the hands of someone who claims he had rabies. Here’s the problem with that picture: 

 

Pipo was never assessed or swabbed by a licensed Veterinarian.

 

Pipo was not quarantined (as evident in the video) even after alleging this dog with rabies had bitten someone. Another dog can be seen in the direct vicinity of Pipo. 

 

The video shows anomalies and appears to have been edited by Mr Chour to make it look like Pipo was aggressive from the start, hence Michael wearing gloves.

 

In fact, the actual footage should start at 3.25 minutes where the dog is aggressively pinned by 3 people and administered a painful injection of sedative (Michael has no gloves on). Jump back to the start of the video where Pipo is yelping after the injection where Michael states “ok injection is painful, I know”. The dog obviously stressed but still wagging approaches for reassurance and Michael pushes him away. 

 

Michael continues to approach and antagonize Pipo with head contact, even throwing the empty syringe past the dog. Calm and wagging through most of the incessant encroachment by Michael, the dog is seen to lunge forward (remember in real time, this is actually just after the injection and being pinned down) before being punched to the ground. 

 

Unsatisfied with Pipo laying calmly on the ground, Michael continues to invade his space while the sedative takes effect. 4:21 gloves are back on and Michael strokes the dog to check sedative effect before the lethal injection is prepared. Euthanasia is then performed off camera, illegally by Michael as reported in their posts. 

 

This “rabies” case was not reported to the Department of Livestock Development, nor was the body sent to relevant authorities, which contravenes the act Animal Disease Control. Another law ignored by Michael Chour. 

 

It is alleged by several volunteers who have worked at this facility, this is not the first occurrence of animals euthanized of suspected rabies by Michael Chour - their bodies discarded by shallow grave. It has also been alleged by one source, “Michael would deliberately draw air into the euthanasia needle before administering”. A horrific claim of cruelty.

 

CALLING FOR ACTION

Sound of Animals Trustees, volunteers and long time donors to the organisation are calling for all law-abiding rescuers in Thailand and supporters of responsible animal practices to stand together to have Michael Chour removed from SOA and charged with cruelty, effective immediately. 

 

Pipo's story is just one example of Mr Chour’s irresponsible and illegal activity, there are hundreds more. 

 

He must not be allowed to continue illegally parading as a medical professional and misrepresenting true Foundations in Thailand, who have legal registration. 

 

The cruelty stops here. It stops with Pipo’s death
